ABS Research Grants 2026 now open
Applications now open for the 2026 round.
The ABS is delighted to announce that applications for the 2026 ABS Research Development Grants are now open.
These grants are available to ABS members and are designed to support innovative research projects focused on the screening, early diagnosis and prevention of breast cancer. Since 2015, the ABS has funded a wide range of impactful projects, helping to drive forward clinical research and improve patient outcomes.
The scheme particularly supports early-stage work aimed at developing future research, including:
- Initial development of clinical trials
- Systematic reviews
- Audits to inform study design
- Fellowships and pump-priming projects
- Trainee collaboratives
- Basic scientific research
The ABS encourages applications that will contribute to advancing knowledge and shaping the future of breast cancer care.
The deadline for applications is 20 October 2026.
