Bangladesh Cancer Consortium 1st International Cancer Workshop 2025
A multidisciplinary event aimed at advancing cancer management and care in Bangladesh.
About the Workshop
This two-day workshop combines practical skills development with high-level academic lectures, taking place on November 23rd and 24th, 2025, at the Dhaka Medical College Auditorium, Dhaka., Bangladesh.
The programme features:
- Cadaveric Hands-On Training in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery (Round Block,
- Therapeutic Mammoplasty, and local flaps) and Head & Neck Surgery.
- Live Surgery Demonstrations on November 24th (including Round Block
- Therapeutic Mammoplasty and LICAP wide local excision).
- Multidisciplinary Lectures from leading UK Faculty (including ABS members Mr. Avi Agrawal, Mr. Edward St John, and Miss Tasmia Tahmid from Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust) and top Bangladeshi specialists.
Call for Abstracts
UK surgeons and trainees, particularly those interested in international collaboration and academic contribution, are invited to submit abstracts for presentation at this event.
Submissions can cover all aspects of Breast Health, including:
- Oncoplastic and Reconstructive Techniques
- Management of Benign Breast Diseases
- Breast Cancer Research and Outcomes
- Systemic Oncology and Radiotherapy Planning
- Screening and Diagnostic Innovations
Presenting authors will have the opportunity to share their research with an international audience and engage directly with global leaders in the field.

Notification of Acceptance: November 13, 2025
