Welcome Reception - Sunday 7 June, 18.00, Trades Hall
The ABS evening drinks reception is open to all attendees and will take place on Sunday 7 June. The reception will take place at Trades Hall (85 Glassford Street, Glasgow) between 18.00 – 20.00 and is the perfect opportunity to catch up with colleagues and friends.
Drinks Reception - Monday 8 June, 18.00, Glasgow SEC
Join your colleagues in the exhibition on Monday evening from 6pm to enjoy a drink and networking and take some time to view the posters. Everyone is welcome and attendance is included in your registration fee.
ABS Annual Dinner - Monday 8 June, 19.00, Glasgow Science Centre
The ABS Annual Dinner will take place at the Glasgow Science Centre and will start with a welcome drink from 19.00 for an 20.00 dinner. The 2026 conference dinner will be a traditional Scottish Ceilidh and the evening will end with a disco.
Education in the Exhibition Sessions
This year we will be adding enhanced educational opportunities within the exhibition in a more social and interactive setting.
These focused, practical learning sessions will be delivered during breaks in the exhibition space, and will cover professional development and soft skills, with topics including:
- Top tips for writing an abstract
- Private practice: challenging the status quo
- How to write a successful business case
- Video-based technical skills
These sessions are designed to complement the scientific programme and provide immediately applicable skills for enhancing your practice.
