The Scottish Event Campus, Glasgow (SEC) is fully accessible by wheelchair and to all public areas by ramp or lift. If you have any access requirements, specifically in any of the meeting rooms, then do please let a member of the organising team know. Alternatively, you may ask any member of staff at the SEC.
Gala Suite 1 is a designated space for anyone who may have an infant/babe in arms with them at conference or a partner assisting with care. This room is accessible on Monday and Tuesday from 07.30 until the close of each day.
A microwave and some comfortable seating will be provided.
There is a cloakroom for general use on the ground floor of the SEC. Additional space will be made available for luggage on Tuesday at the back of Hall 4. The cloakroom is always attended by a member of SEC staff; please note, however, that items are left at your own risk.

Conference sessions will take place in either the Clyde Auditorium, The Forth or the Lomond Auditorium. Additional sessions this year will run in the Exhibition Hall, Hall 4, in either Exhibition Auditorium 1 or Exhibition Auditorium 2. Headsets will be available for you to join in these sessions.
The Association of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland have awarded a total of 12 points for this two-day conference.
Attendance certificates will be emailed to delegates after the conference, and you will be able to download them from the ABS website.
A delegate list is available on the conference app. This includes the names of delegates who have consented to have their details uploaded. If you wish to add your details to the delegate list during the conference, you can do so on the app, please click on the Delegate Registration tab and enter your details.
Once the app has refreshed your details will appear.

In the event of an emergency please contact a member of staff from Profile Productions, ABS, or a member of the SEC security staff, who you will see throughout the building. In all other instances, please dial 999.
The Conference Vetting System (CVS) is a centralised decision-making system that encourages transparency and consistency in medical education events. The Association of Breast Surgery Conference has been approved for 2026.

The exhibition and posters will be located in Hall 4 for both days of the ABS 2026 conference. There is a dedicated poster area as well as an area for those colleagues who are non-HCP delegates. Please note that the exhibition and poster area will be closed to all participants from 14.30 on Tuesday 9 June.
Lunch and refreshments will be served in Hall 4 at the times shown in the programme. There is a dedicated area for any delegates who may have questions relating to special meal and dietary requests at the Allergen Station in the centre of Hall 4. Vegetarian and plant-based options are available from the main catering points in the Hall 4 and we have catered accordingly to dietary requests given at the time of booking.
The Fyne Room located just behind the Lomond Auditorium on the ground floor of the SEC is a multi faith space for anyone who wishes to use it during the conference and will be open from 07.30 each day.
A photographer will be taking images of the conference during the event for use by the ABS in future publications, the ABS website and social media posts. If you do not wish to be included in any of these, please speak to a member of the team at the Registration desk and you will be given a different coloured lanyard to avoid inclusion in any photographs.
In addition to posters being available to look at during all refreshment and lunch breaks, there are two author attended poster sessions during which we encourage authors to be available for questions relating to their work, these are specifically Monday afternoon between 15.30 and 16.15 and Tuesday mid-morning from 10.55 – 11.45.
Don’t forget you can also look at the posters during the Drinks reception on Monday evening from 18.00.
Delegates are encouraged to ask questions via Slido which is available in all 3 of the conference rooms. Please go to www.sli.do and type in the event code ABSCONF26 or alternatively scan the QR code shown on screen in each of the rooms.
You will need to select the correct room you are in before typing in your question.
Gala Suite 2 has been designated as a quiet space for anyone who may want some down time during the conference to reflect or relax. We kindly ask that you do not use any mobile devises in this space. This room is accessible on Monday and Tuesday from 07.30 until the close of each day.
The only registration desk will be open in Hall 4A at the following times
- Sunday 7 June - 15.00 to 18.00
- Monday 8 June - 07.30 to 19.00
- Tuesday 9 June - 07.30 to 14.30
After 14.30 on Tuesday there will be a smaller queries desk outside the main entrance to Hall 4A.
All delegates are encouraged to come and visit the ABS selfie hub area for you to be able to take and share your experiences of the 2026 conference in Glasgow.
Welcome reception - Sunday 7 June
Come along to Trades Hall of Glasgow, 85 Glassford St, Glasgow G1 1UH, from 18.00 on Sunday evening to join other friends and colleagues from the ABS conference.
Drinks reception - Monday 8 June
Join your colleagues in the exhibition on Monday evening from 18.00 to enjoy a drink and some time to network with colleagues and friends.
Annual dinner - Monday 8 June
The ABS Annual dinner will take place at Glasgow Science Centre, 50 Pacific Quay, Glasgow, G51 1EA, with a welcome reception starting at 19.00 and a chance to explore some of the exhibitions with a call for dinner at 19.45 and dinner at 20.00 sharp.
Attendees must have bought a ticket in advance to attend the dinner.
The speakers' preview room is located in the Etive Room on the ground floor level. Speakers are kindly asked to visit the preview room at least an hour prior to their session to upload their presentation and check it through with the technical team. Refreshments will be available.
