ASIT x Mammary Fold Introduction to Breast Surgery Course

Overview
This course is part of the ASiT Annual Conference 2025 and is aimed at medical students to ST4 surgical registrars. This is an immersive simulated experience of 'A day in the life of an Oncoplastic Breast surgeon' from diagnosis, assessment, decision making and surgical management of patients with breast cancer. Trainees will understand the diagnosis, complete skill stations in breast biopsy and attend a simulated MDT.
Throughout the day you will appreciate the challenge of surgical decision making in reconstructive surgery and undertake simulated practical skills training in breast conserving surgery on models.
