Overview
The Mammary Fold will again be running the 4th Advanced Communications Skills Course for Breast Surgeons on the 28-29th of September.
Suitable for trainees and consultants and all ABS and Mammary Fold members are welcome to register.
The course is designed for the modern breast surgeon and aims to provide techniques in dealing with challenging clinical scenarios and improving confidence and ability in engaging patients in understanding risk of their disease and surgery. The dynamic and interactive course is run over 1.5 days and is comprised of a variety of lectures, exercises and video footage on communicating with the breast cancer patient. Delegates work through real clinical scenarios with one-to-one training in small teaching group.
This popular course held at the Royal Society of Medicine in London has been heavily subsidised and will be offered on a first come first served basis
