Drinks Reception - Sunday 7 June, 6pm, Trades Hall
The ABS evening drinks reception is open to all attendees and will take place on Sunday 7 June. The reception will take place at Trades Hall (85 Glassford Street, Glasgow) between 6pm – 8pm and is the perfect opportunity to catch up with colleagues and friends.
Welcome Reception - Monday 8 June, 6pm, Glasgow SEC
Join your colleagues in the exhibition on Monday evening from 6pm to enjoy a drink and networking and take some time to view the posters. Everyone is welcome and attendance is included in your registration fee.
ABS Annual Dinner - Monday 8 June, 7.30pm, Glasgow Science Centre
The ABS Annual Dinner will take place at the Glasgow Science Centre and will start with a welcome drink from 7.30pm for an 8.00pm dinner. Tickets are available to purchase as part of your conference booking and please note that places are limited. The 2026 conference dinner will be a traditional Scottish Ceilidh and the evening will end with a disco.
Tickets to the dinner are available to buy at the point of registration.
Education in the Exhibition Sessions
This year we will be adding enhanced educational opportunities within the exhibition in a more social and interactive setting.
These focused, practical learning sessions will be delivered during breaks in the exhibition space, and will cover professional development and soft skills, with topics including:
- Top tips for writing an abstract
- Private practice: challenging the status quo
- How to write a successful business case
- Video-based technical skills
These sessions are designed to complement the scientific programme and provide immediately applicable skills for enhancing your practice.
