BMS Consensus Statement: The risks & benefits of HRT before and after a breast cancer diagnosis

Questions regarding the risk/ benefits of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) are common in breast clinics. The British Menopause Society (BMS) have produced a clear and helpful document which summarises the latest thinking on this topic. The risks of HRT are compared with other lifestyle factors such as alcohol, exercise etc. The Consensus Statement was updated in February 2020 The BMS website is itself a useful resource, which can be accessed by ABS members although some content is for BMS members only
