Advanced Communications Skills Course for Breast Surgeons
This one-day interactive course is designed for consultants, senior trainees, and fellows working in the modern breast surgery department. Overview
The course is designed for the modern breast surgeon and aims to provide techniques in dealing with challenging clinical scenarios and improving confidence and ability in engaging patients in understanding risk of their disease and surgery. The dynamic and interactive course is run over 1 day and is comprised of a variety of lectures, exercises and video footage on communicating with the breast cancer patient. Delegates work through real clinical scenarios with one-to-one training in small teaching group.
