Introduction to Minimally Invasive Breast Surgery

Overview

The Introduction to Minimally Invasive Breast Surgery course is designed for individuals and units interested in introducing single-port laparoscopic mastectomy and reconstruction into their practice (the robotic assisted technique will also covered).

The day covers the literature, implications, and techniques of these procedures, presented by internationally recognised experts.

The course will not teach you the technique or give hands-on experience but will give guidance on how to get trained as a surgeon and as a team. There will also be advice on setting up the governance and funding these techniques.
