Dr Amit Agrawal, MS, FRCSEd, DM, FRCS, Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon, transformed Cambridge into an internationally recognised Oncoplastic unit and established the Oncoplastic Breast course (chest wall perforator flap, mammaplasty and implant dissection). He leads the ‘Brecon’ collaborative research, including the 'PartBreCon-Pro' (a prospective international study on chest wall perforator flap) and 'PerfAct' studies. He has received several grants including from the UK National Institute for Health & Care Research (NIHR) and UK Research & Innovation (UKRI). He is a member of several societies, including the ABS Academic and Research Committee and is a Research module lead and examiner for MSc and MS Oncoplastic degrees in Breast Surgery (Uni. of East Anglia, UK). He has been an Expert Reviewer and Adviser for NICE, NIHR and journals. He lectures worldwide and has 120+ publications (including co-editing a book on perforator flaps) and presentations, including endocrine therapy-related research (Academic Surgical trainee, Uni. Of Nottingham). He has been a co-investigator in multiple trials: Pioneer, PBCP, Atnec, Miami, Neo-RT, MarginProbe, LoRis, Posnoc, POETIC, ATAC, IBIS1&2. Iressa57, 225, 004; EFECT, FIRST, LATTE, ZOFAST, FHEM.
