Professor Roy is a Consultant Oncoplastic and Reconstructive Breast Surgeon in Oxford since 2011. She only performs breast surgery and offers all aspects including breast cancer surgery, reconstruction surgery and cosmetic surgery.

She graduated from University of Delhi, India and underwent higher surgical training at Oxford. She was selected for prestigious National Oncoplastic Fellowship at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust in 2009 and did a higher degree in research in breast cancer from University of Dundee. Since her appointment, she has set up a successful Oncoplastic breast service at OUH trust. A full range of reconstructive service is being offered in close association with plastic surgeons, who perform free flap reconstruction. She is a very dedicated clinician and offers compassionate consultations and individualized expert advice and opinion for breast problems.

Miss Roy specializes in diagnosis and management of breast diseases, both benign and malignant. Her specialist interest includes surgical management of breast cancer whilst ensuring an optimum aesthetic outcome by offering specialist techniques such as mammaplasty and partial breast reconstruction. She offers immediate breast reconstruction with implants and flaps for patients undergoing mastectomy for breast cancer and offers sentinel lymph node biopsy for axillary staging of patients with breast cancer. She also offers correction of breast deformities and/or breast asymmetry to patients having undergone breast cancer surgery in the past.

She is actively involved in breast cancer research and is the principal investigator at Oxford for national and international trials. She is motivated to enhance the research in the field and is actively involved in recruiting patients for research projects in collaboration with CRUK.

Brendan Smith is a Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon appointed as a consultant at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in 2005..

He was one of the first cohorts of National Oncoplastic TIG fellows and gained his first choice fellowship at the Christie and South Manchester University Teaching Hospitals.

Brendan set up the first Breast Oncoplastic Surgery service in the Oxford deanery and has trained many other Consultant breast surgeons.

He set up a level 1 oncoplastic training unit at the Royal Berkshire Hospital encompassing all aspects of oncoplastic breast surgery. Over this period he has always looked to develop and deliver new and more effective reconstruction techniques to his patients

Dr Amit Agrawal, MS, FRCSEd, DM, FRCS, Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon, transformed Cambridge into an internationally recognised Oncoplastic unit and established the Oncoplastic Breast course (chest wall perforator flap, mammaplasty and implant dissection). He leads the ‘Brecon’ collaborative research, including the 'PartBreCon-Pro' (a prospective international study on chest wall perforator flap) and 'PerfAct' studies. He has received several grants including from the UK National Institute for Health & Care Research (NIHR) and UK Research & Innovation (UKRI).  He is a member of several societies, including the ABS Academic and Research Committee and is a Research module lead and examiner for MSc and MS Oncoplastic degrees in Breast Surgery (Uni. of East Anglia, UK). He has been an Expert Reviewer and Adviser for NICE, NIHR and journals. He lectures worldwide and has 120+ publications (including co-editing a book on perforator flaps) and presentations, including endocrine therapy-related research (Academic Surgical trainee, Uni. Of Nottingham). He has been a co-investigator in multiple trials: Pioneer, PBCP, Atnec, Miami, Neo-RT, MarginProbe, LoRis, Posnoc, POETIC, ATAC, IBIS1&2. Mr Brown was appointed as Consultant Oncoplastic Breast and General Surgeon at RCHT in July 2006. As Cornwall’s first Oncoplastic and Reconstructive Breast Surgeon, he successfully introduced and developed the new and comprehensive oncoplastic breast service for the women of Cornwall. The RCHT Breast Unit (at the Mermaid Centre and St Michaels Hospital, Hayle), is now one of the only breast units in the UK to have 5 Specialist Oncoplastic Consultant Breast Surgeons and is recognised both nationally and internationally.

Lisa is Consultant Surgeon specialising in oncoplastic and reconstructive breast surgery.  She has been a Consultant at The Rotherham Foundation NHS Trust since 2017. She qualified from Leicester medical school in 1992 and undertook most of her surgical training in South Yorkshire as a Clinical lecturer.  Her training highlights include: Anatomy Demonstrator at UMDS London under the mentorship and supervision of Professor Harold Ellis and Barbers’ Company Professor Vishy Mahadevan MBBS PhD FRCS - where her love of teaching started; Two personal awards to conduct her research and support her training - RCS Research Fellowship and a 5-year CRUK clinical training Fellowship in Psychosocial Aspects of Cancer, TIG fellowship in Oncoplastic breast surgery in Newcastle - where she had free reign to consolidate her training and solidify her base for her consultant role. She continues to teach on ABS and university courses on breast cancer and decision making.

Isabella has been a Consultant Oncoplastic Surgeon at Frimley Health NHS Trust since 2009, where she is the Clinical Lead for Frimley Park Breast Unit and The Parapet Unit in Windsor. She is passionate and dedicated in the training of oncoplastic breast surgery where she now mentors three Oncoplastic Fellows across the Trust. She was recently appointed Communications Ordinary Trustee to the ABS and she currently serves as Director of Course Development. Isabella has taught on the UEA Masters in Breast Oncoplastic Surgery for 13 years and has been the ABS Yearbook Editor since 2021. Her special interests include revisional surgery and using Lean methodology to improve efficiencies and surgical outcomes.

Lucy Khan qualified from the University of Edinburgh in 2006 and trained at the Edinburgh Breast unit before completing her oncoplastic fellowship at Frimley Park Hospital, Surrey, including training in aesthetic and cosmetic breast surgery. She worked as a consultant at Mid-Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust before returning to Scotland where she is a consultant oncoplastic breast surgeon based at Forth Valley Royal Hospital but also working in NHS Fife and NHS Lanarkshire.

She has interests in lipofilling, symmetrising surgery and immediate breast reconstruction. She has a busy private practice focused on cosmetic breast surgery and is keen to support breast and plastic surgeons to undertake safe, best practice in this area. Lucy is keen to promote the cosmetic surgery accreditation scheme and the national breast and cosmetic implant registry.

Mr Murphy is a specialist in all types of breast problems, whether it be pain, lumps, cosmetic issues or cancer related problems. He specializes in breast cancer surgery, breast reconstruction, male breast surgery and cosmetic breast surgery. His sub-specialist clinical interest is in revisional cosmetic breast surgery and risk reducing surgery.

Mr Richard Sutton is a Consultant Breast Surgeon specialising in oncoplastic, reconstructive and cosmetic breast surgery at Bath Clinic. He also holds a substantive NHS consultant post at the Royal United Hospital (RUH) in Bath and was appointed in 2003.

Steven Thrush is an experienced breast reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon who has been a Consultant Breast Surgeon in Worcester since 2004. He is passionate about education and has been involved with the the ABS (previously Royal College of Surgeons of England)  breast courses since 2005. He is also a module lead for the Oncoplastic Breast Masters Course run through University of East Anglia. He has lectured internationally and published numerous academic papers on breast surgery.

Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital

Rachel Tillett is a Consultant in Plastic and Oncoplastic Breast Surgery in Exeter, and was appointed in 2013. Having studied at Oxford University and St Mary’s, she completed plastic surgery training in the south west. This was followed by a National Breast TIG Fellowship in Exeter.

She performs her own resectional work alongside a DIEP practice,  other forms of total breast reconstruction, chest wall perforator flaps and all other oncoplastic techniques.

She is passionate about providing more patient access to chest wall perforator flaps and was the first surgeon to develop a practice in the south west.
