We have launched the 2nd Mammary Fold Trainee Survey for 2025. Last year, with participants from 13 deaneries, we were able to identify potential barriers to training and achieving required competencies in light of the 2021 curriculum changes. This allowed the Mammary Fold Committee to contribute to discussions of future training alongside ABS, with JCST, and has led to re-consideration of indicative numbers for CCT to align with actual volume of cases being performed in Breast Units across the UK.
There is still more work to be done, and we want to hear about your continued experiences as breast trainees.
