Roles and Responsibilities

Regional representatives of the Mammary Fold are sought to promote the work of the Mammary Fold to trainees within their region. The representatives will provide a local point of contact with the Mammary Fold to encourage participation.

The role can be divided into responsibilities to council and responsibilities to local trainees.

Committee Positions

Mammary Fold Academic Committee (MFAC) Chair Position and Committee Membership application. Deadline for Application 1st December 2018.

 In 2014, the Mammary Fold Academic Collaborative (MFAC) was formed with the aim of promoting trainee-led audit and research at a national level. We are looking for a dynamic, motivated and inspiring trainees to join the MFAC.

 

Chair Position 

This post includes a position on The Mammary Fold committee. It involves arranging leading the MFAC telephone conferences/meetings and supporting all research activities endorsed by MFAC. As the Chair you will organising & run the annual Mammary Fold Academic and Research meeting, which has been successful in showcasing trainee-led collaborative studies in breast disease. This has already been started by the current Chair and members of the Mammary fold committee. In addition, the role involves attending and representing the trainees at the quarterly ABS Academic and Research Committee meetings and acting as a link between the groups. This is an excellent opportunity to improve the networks within groups interested in breast surgery research. As an MFAC member you will play a vital role in supporting trainee-led collaborative & other studies in breast disease.
