MS Oncoplastic Breast Surgery course

This course, which has been designed and delivered by a large faculty of practicing experts in the field, has been developed specifically to promote the progression of oncoplastic breast surgeons in practice and is offered with the ongoing support of ABS, BAPRAS, the Royal College of Surgeons (England) and the European Society of Surgical Oncology (ESSO). Currently, this course is the only programme to qualify specialists in oncoplastic
breast surgery.

The programme prepares and qualifies you for year 1 level consultant specialist practice; this is achieved through a combination of engaging online activities and practical skills assessment through log-book examination. This rigorous educational programme is combined with your professional surgical practice, and while the course focuses on your surgical experience it is also crucially includes the management and research skills which are essential for any progressive NHS surgeon.

MS Aesthetic Breast Surgery course

An innovative online course in Aesthetic Breast Surgery has been developed by the University of East Anglia.

Following the successful format of the Masters in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery, each stand alone 16 week module will deliver interactive online learning in all aspects of breast augmentation, breast reduction, mastopexy, congenital breast anomalies, secondary aesthetic breast surgery and lipofilling techniques, inlucind patient selection, consent and medico-legal issues.

Participation in online case discussions and tasks will be credited with CPD points. Successful completion of an optional essay will accrue university credits towards a formal Postgraduate Certificate (3 modules, 60 credits) or Diploma (6 modules, 120 credits).
