Programme
In the morning session you will hear from two leading clinical exponents of circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA) profiling on how the technique is enabling personalised treatment of cancer patients. The significant challenges – and opportunities – associated with this field is bound to trigger much discussion over lunch.
The afternoon is themed by tumour type, with an outstanding faculty, all associated with the Centre for Molecular Pathology, describing how the latest clinical trials in their respective areas are being assisted by combining established methodologies with new technologies, including gene panel sequencing and digital droplet PCR. We will also hear how progress on Genomics England’s 100,000 genomes project is beginning to impact on cancer diagnostics.
