The Royal College of Physicians, London UK
This year’s meeting aims to provide an update on what is new, challenging and controversial in the management of patients with breast cancer. The meeting will address the contentious dilemmas surrounding Post Mastectomy Radiotherapy and Reconstruction, and the change in practice. Various other challenges and hot topics in medical oncology will also be addressed.
This year marks a decade of organising these annual meetings and are delighted to announce our Cridlan lecturer - Professor Mitch Dowsett, who will be ‘unravelling the mysteries of ER + Breast Cancer’. His research focuses almost exclusively on breast cancer and predominantly on hormonal aspects of the disease and biomarkers of response. The meeting is open to all professionals who are involved in looking after women with breast cancer, including clinicians and senior nurses.
