National Audit of Breast Cancer in Older Patients (NABCOP)

The National Audit of Breast Cancer in Older Patients (NABCOP), commissioned by the Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership, evaluates the care received by older women (aged 70+ years) diagnosed with breast cancer in NHS hospitals within England and Wales.

NABCOP’s 2022 Annual Report describes the process and outcomes of care for women, diagnosed with breast cancer between 1 January 2014 and 31 December 2020. Patterns for older women are compared to those for women aged 50–69 years. We also distinguish between the groupings: ductal carcinoma in situ; early invasive breast cancer; metastatic breast cancer.
