About ABS Events

The Association of Breast Surgery has a diverse programme of events including its annual conference and MDT Meetings, as well as a dedicated meeting for breast surgery trainees.

UK Interdisciplinary Breast Cancer Symposium

 

The first UK Interdisciplinary Breast Cancer Symposium exploring the latest advances in research and treatments will take place on 15th & 16th January 2018 at Manchester Central. 

The event will include national and international keynote speakers, plenary sessions, mini symposia, workshops, free oral communications and poster presentations. You can find out more, submit an abstract or register on the website here.

Please note that the ABS will not be running its annual MDT Meeting in 2018. 

ABS Conference

 

The ABS Conference is held annually and is a two-day multidisciplinary, scientific conference.

In 2018 the ABS Conference will take place at the Birmingham ICC on 18th & 19th June. Abstract submission is now open, find out more here. Information about the programme and speakers will appear here in due course.

In 2017 the ABS Conference was held at the newly redeveloped Belfast Waterfront on the 15th & 16th May. The programme included a diverse range of sessions and both national and international speakers. Trainees Meeting

 

The ABS Trainees Meeting is an annual event held at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

This year's meeting took place on the 22nd & 23rd June. More information about next year's meeting, including the date and programme, will be available in due course.
